Introduction to Iqra'a College
Established in 2009, Iqra'a College of Medical and Technical Sciences stands as the first accredited private community college in Ibb Governorate. It operates under the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training – the Executive Body of the Supreme Council of Community Colleges, with ministerial license number (104).
The college is driven by the belief that education, knowledge acquisition, and its application are the cornerstones of successive human civilizations. The very first word revealed to our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was "Read," underscoring the paramount importance of this command. This profound message served as the primary impetus for the establishment of Iqra'a College.
The college is committed to providing an exceptional education that harmonizes the three pillars of success: a modern curriculum, innovative teaching methods, and a competent faculty capable of imparting knowledge and adapting to the latest advancements.
As we conclude our fifteenth year since inception, we take immense pride in the fact that our graduates are contributing their skills and expertise across the nation's cities and rural areas, upholding the highest professional ethics and standards. This fills us with pride and reinforces our commitment to our vision: "We have confidence in our graduates. Iqra'a... Your promising future."
The message
To create a scientific environment distinguished by a capacity for renewed production that accommodates and keeps pace with developed education curricula, and for the college to be a true embodiment of what we aspire to in terms of distinguished education, combining the three poles of success: the modern curriculum, the renewed means, and the competent teacher capable of giving and dealing with all that is new, to contribute to providing society with scientific and professional cadres that meet its needs and are able to serve the nation in accordance with comprehensive quality standards and are absorbed by institutions and the labor market inside and outside the country.

نسعى أن تكون الكلية رائدة في تقديم خدمة تعليمية ومهارية نوعية تواكب متطلبات العصر لتلبي احتياجات سوق العمل بالكوادر المؤهلة علميا ومهارياً ، في إطار من القيم الأخلاقية والثقافية والاجتماعية وصولاً إلى الإسهام في تحقيق التنمية المجتمعية المستدامة.
الأهداف
الاسهام في استضافة عدد من طلاب وطالبات المرحلة الثانوية للاستفادة العلمية والعملية، وتخريج كوادر طبية وتقنية متميزة قادرة على ممارسة المهنة بكفاءة وفاعلية ،وتوفير بيئة تنموية لتشجيع الطلاب على الابداع والابتكار وربط المعارف النظرية بواقع العمل .
الاعتمادات
تعمل كلية اقرأ للعلوم الطبية والتقنية في إطار الأنظمة والقوانين المعتمدة لممارسة نشاط كليات المجتمع وتم حصولها على تراخيص مزاولة النشاط في جميع التخصصات المفتوحة كما تم صدور قرار وزاري بقبول الخريجين للتسجيل بالخدمة المدنية للتنافس على الوظائف الحكومية, كونها مؤسسة تعليمية معتمدة ومعترف بها, والكلية عضو أتحاد كليات المجتمع اليمنية وقد حازت الكلية على إشادات الجهات الوزارية المشرفة لها وكذلك من العديد من الشخصيات الأكاديمية والمجتمعية, وقد تم تتويج الكلية من بين أفضل 22 منشأة مجتمعية على مستوى الجمهورية للعام 2024, وتسعى الكلية لاستمرار بضمان جودة التعليم وحصول الطالب على شهادة ومهنة , شهادة معترف بها محلياً وخارجياً مما يتيح لخريجي الكلية فرصًا واسعة للتوظيف, حيث يوجد أكثر من 1000 خريج يمارسون المهنة بكل كفاءة واقتدار وبالبعض منهم من تم حصوله على تراخيص مزاولة المهنة خارج اليمن. في بعض الدول المجاورة.

It is our pleasure to provide you on this college website with some information that concerns you regarding Iqra'a College of Medical and Technical Sciences, and makes it easier for those wishing to join the college to learn about admission procedures, the study system, the types of scientific specializations in the college, and the study plan.
Iqra'a College has pledged since its first steps, and until this moment and the future - by God's will - to give its full attention to providing all the privileges and has shouldered the burden of responsibility and worked with the means of success in creating modern and high-quality laboratory readiness in a building that combines academic and service advantages.
We are proud of the administrative and academic staff of Iqra'a College, who hold doctorate, master's, and bachelor's degrees, and who are experienced, perform well, and embrace their students, who work with all sincerity, competence, and effectiveness to ensure the graduation of qualified cadres that work to meet the aspirations of society. We are well aware of our duty and the magnitude of the responsibility towards our students, embodying this by striving to provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills in all fields of their various studies, and we have spared no effort in ensuring that they benefit from intensive practical application in the college's laboratories and hospitals, and granting the ministry-accredited certificate to all graduates.

لقد وضعت رسالة الكلية كوسيلة للوصول إلى الرؤية المنشودة حيث تترجم هذه الرسالة الى إيجاد بيئة تعليمية مناسبة لتقديم تعليم فني يتناسب مع التطورات العلمية الحديثة فقد سعى الجانب الأكاديمي في الكلية لاختيار أعضاء هيئة التدريس من حملة الدكتوراه والماجستير والبكالوريوس ممن لمسنا فيهم حب العلم والتعليم وذوي خبرة علمية وعملية في ميدان العمل.
أعضاء هيئة التدريس
تدرك الكلية أهمية الجانب العملي التطبيقي للطلاب حيث انه يشكل 80% من الدراسة في التخصصات المساعدة ويتلخص رسائل التطبيق العملي في الحقول التالية : -
- معامل الكلية المستقلة في كل تخصص.
- المستشفيات العامة والخاصة والمراكز الصحية.
- المراكز الخدمية (من خلال الزيارات).
- الدورات العلمية والعملية.
ولأهمية التطبيق العملي في العلوم الطبية ومايتطلب ذلك من تثبيتها في الذهن حرصت الكلية منذ البداية على توفير المعامل المتكاملة المستقلة لكل تخصص على حده وتم التنسيق والتعاون المشترك مع العديد من المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية الرائدة على مستوى المحافظة.
